My Apple Pencil fell in water and it won’t connect can it be fixed?

Apple Pencil not working? My Apple Pencil stopped working yesterday but I presumed it was just dead.I charged it overnight then went to use it this afternoon but it wasn’t paring up with my iPad 6th generation or my old iPad (also 6th generation).The only thing I can think of is that I dropped it in a cup of water but it was in there for no more than 5 seconds and I immediately took the caps of to check it and I put them back on after.Can anyone think of something to help before taking it to an Apple shop?

Is it possible to fix a water-damaged Apple Pencil? my Apple Pencil was in my jacket and I didn't even notice that my Apple Pencil was in the pocket and after I checked my jacket I noticed that my Apple Pencil was soaking wet in water so I try to connect it after few times it hasn't worked since :) [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Apple Pencil my Apple Pencil is not working even after I charged it. Pencil is not connecting. I didn’t use my pencil for 10-15 days. one month ago my Pencil got wet but it was working back then. Apple Pencil gen 1

Probably not, they are not water resistant. Buy a new one.

Thanks, I even put it in some rice and after hours it still didn’t making a difference. A new one it is.
