Anyone else have an issue with their home pod not showing the intercom option? I have 14.1 version on both iPhone and HomePod
See Use HomePod as an intercom - Apple Support. It seems the feature is only active when you have two or more HomePods.

At the moment it requires 2 HomePods in different rooms. It does not show up in the HameKit app for iOS yet.
Have you checked for firmware updates for your HomePods in the Home app?

Me too I got two HomePod. Intercom not show 😬.
I try not workings. I got 3 home pod in house
My Software is updated 14.1
I don't know then. Perhaps 14.2 will fix it.
