After an update my camera app does not work. I can See through my camera but when I push the button to take a photo it just goes black. I can take pics in other other apps such as Snapchat but not through the camera app as i always have. I can’t find anywhere that actually has a solution to this. Please help.

In reviewing your post, we see that the built-in Camera app is not working as expected. You're able to see the preview, but not actually take a photo.
If this is the case, take a moment to review this article: If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working. Look over the steps under the section "If the camera isn't working", and confirm if they resolve your issue.
If not, test both the front and rear cameras, and let us know if the issue persists with both. Additionally, if possible leet us know if the camera picks up a FaceTime video call. We'll follow up from there.
