Catalina - books app not working

I just upgraded my macbook air to catalina and now the books app does not work. what gives???

Any ideas how I can fix it? Meanwhile, I am using the Kindle Cloud Reader as an alternative - but it would be nice to be able to use the Kindle App again. Thanks!

catalina 10.15 iBooks Hi, I just updated my MacBook Air to Catalina 10.15 and now it doesn't support the iBooks app anymore and I can't find Apple Books in the App Store. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you

Apple Books on Catalina is not opening any books, not even my own PDFs and ePubs Apple Books is not opening any books, not even the ones I bought on the Bookstore or my own PDFs and ePubs that I made. Since I updated my 2015 15 inch Mac Book Pro laptop to MacOS Catalina two days ago, I cannot open any books in Apple Books. When I attempt to open any books in Apple Books, I get the following error: "The operation couldn’t be completed. (BKAgentServiceErrorDomain error 8.)" I am hopeful someone can help me fix this issue.
