Recently deleted notes folder missing

I accidentally deleted a note from the notes app & when I tried to go retrieve it, I noticed that the Recently Deleted folder was gone. I tried going to iCloud.com to retrieve it that way but again the folder was missing. How can I access it? Is this part of the most recent update?

How to Recover a Deleted Subfolder in Notes I accidentally deleted most of the information in a subfolder of Notes. Even though I have iCloud and iCloud storage, I cannot find a "Recently Deleted" items folder, even when I go to the < at the top left of the Notes screen. Can I recover my recently deleted notes? Is there a back-up folder from a few days ago somewhere? If I cannot recover the notes, how can I be sure that they will be recoverable in the future?

Recently deleted folder in Notes App Question: I accidentally deleted a note in notes. Why don’t I have a recently deleted folder? I tried as mentioned tapping on < left In app but i couldnt find the deleted folder. Please help asap

Recently deleted folder will appear only if Notes are deleted from iCloud folder or "On my iPhone" folder.
