How to change sustain pedal polarity in Logic pro X?

Hi, could someone help me with this?

I tried some of the tips from earlier discussions, like holding the pedal down while turning the keyboard on. No success.

Theres no polarity switch on the pedal it self.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

I reset my computer I restart all my plugins vst etc...logic works wonderfully but when I plug my synth it won't listen to my pedal sustain ...I ve tried it on fl studio 20 and works like a charm on it, but for recording piano my only choice is Logic Pro X (way superior but without my sustain pedal is kinda useless). Usually I never had to enable or touch anything ..logic always detected my sustain pedal automatically...now I ve tried to enable it somewhere but I wasnt able to find anything...please tell me what I need to do!! thanks

Midi Sustain Won't Release in Logic Pro X I'm using Yamaha CP300 keyboard connected to my MAC. When I use Garage Band, everything works as it should. Sustain pedal works perfectly. When I switch to Logic Pro X everything works fine until I press the sustain pedal. Then it will not release the notes. It just holds them forever. I need to use the Midi Panic button on the keyboard to shut things off. Is there a setting in Logic Pro that I'm missing? Seems strange that it has problems in Logic, but it works fine in Garage Band. Any direction would be appreciated.

Midi sustain pedal not recording After I have updated my software to Logic Pro X 10.4.5, the sustain pedal of my Midi device (Technics keyboard) does not register or record. The pedal works when playing the keyboard, but as soon as I record MIDI, the sustain appears to be switched off. I can see that no values are coming through when I step on the pedal and playback also produces a recording without and sustain. Everything was working before the upgrade, so this is not a hardware problem or a problem with my Midi device, it has to be the new software. Can anyone please help?

could use midi pipe if you can't change setting in keyboard
