my brand new AirPods Pro, $250 AirPods, are cutting out every time I listen to a phone call, streaming music, downloaded music, or any other media. This is been a problem in the past with other AirPod as well. This is 2020 and this should be resolved by now. I have tried every single recommended method to resolve this issue date - unpairing and re-pairing, unpairing and erasing phone and re-pairing, etc. Nothing works!

Thank you for the recommendations. None of them worked. I have tried everything, even erasing the phone and try and all of those once again. Finally I found a solution. Disabling the auto ear detection worked.

Thought it had been resolved but they are still disconnecting and cutting out. As soon as I feel well enough I’ll set an appointment to have them checked out.

We're glad you had the opportunity to try those steps, and found a workaround that provided a resolution. For troubleshooting purposes re-enable automatic ear detection. Once re-enabled please go in to Settings > Cellular (Mobile Data), and temporarily disable Cellular Data (Mobile Data) to test to see if the issue continues.
