Hello Lindenbaum,
I've just got rid of it by:
Good luck!
Is this also working for the HP Deskjet 3050 J610?
I don’t know how to which lists in Library/LaunchAgents were added when.
I just started getting this popup as well (Oct 24), and also have an HP Envy 7640 - certainly a suspect coincidence.
Try restarting and click on the update if it shows
I neglected to mention that I followed the original instructions and went into the Library and deleted the HP Library and Launch agent and .plots files as well.
Hopefully that will help!
I did all of that, deleted all HP printers, Scanners and Faxes and tried TC’s recommendation from HPs site. Nothing.
I went into Library and deleted everything HP off my computer and now it's gone. Fortunately, we don't need to print to the HP printers anymore on this computer, but unfortunate for those that do.
Thank you, that worked!
Chris
How can you tell which are the suspicious files?
There is no driver for older HP-Printers on HP-Homepage.
Loribarns,
I haven’t imagined that! Perhaps try restarting and re-launching the app. Or delete and download again. It has worked for several people.
Fix not helped me. library/launchagents is now empty, Mac rebooted... still have annoying popup
there was also nothing HP related in there.
how will i know which files are suspicious.
worked like a champ - thanks!
worked for me
