Hello Lindenbaum,
I've just got rid of it by:
Good luck!
Me pasa lo mismo, el mismo mensaje.
Yo tengo una impresora HP Photosmart 6520 y me funciona bien, sigue imprimiendo. Mi SO es Catalina.
¿Alguien sabe como poder eliminarlo?.
Muchas gracias
Followed “Rolaa’s” advice and worked for me. The culprit was in the “~/Library/LaunchAgents” folder. File was downloaded 19 Oct.
Thanks agree, I Understood there is an update for printers?
LindaLou,
I have an iMac running Catalina 10.15.7, and had no problem launching HP Easy Start. Its version here is 2.9.3. What version did you get?
I used this procedure and it worked for me on my 16"mb pro/Catalina,
Thanks so much.
😊👍
I got the same version 2.9.3. It won't even launch. It does that thing where the logo bobs up and down and then I get "application not responding" and have to force quit.
LindaLou, that is so weird. Did you try deleting it and downloading a fresh copy.?
LindaLou, my copy’s Get Info says it’s 19,674,034 bytes.
I did that and, i just get this sound that seems it's blocked
The Amazon Kindle update or the hpdevicemonitoring. framework file that landed on mu laptop today caused it. Deleted the app and the file, rebooted, and the popup went away
Thank you so much this was spot on.
Using Cleanmymac to uninstall the HP software and then re-downloading from HP and reinstalling worked for me.
I saw there Airprint advice on the HP site - I love how they assume that everyone has an AirPrint machine! My old photosmart is still running fine thanks HP!
Uninstall, reinstalled, and it worked...but only for one day. Then the problem returned.
