Same for me, but it worked only for one day. Then the problem returned.

Hello Lindenbaum,
I've just got rid of it by:
- Using Finder to go to "Library/LaunchAgents" and moving the most recently added and suspicious looking file to the bin.
- Did the same here "Library/LaunchDemons"
- And here "~Library/LaunchAgents"
- I also went to "Applications" and sorted by most recently added to see if anything suspicious has been added, and removed that.
- Then I restarted my Mac and it's fixed!

If you trash those files, your printer won't print.........
As previously mentioned I downloaded the HP Smart APP on my laptop and today I have no issues. Updates were done during the night and I am thinking they resolved it!
I'm concerned about uninstalling because the HP site says there is no driver for my printer on Mac OS 10.15. Please are you able to advise further, other than buying a new printer!
Sure that works but you then can't use the printer. So it is not at all a solution. APPLE and HP should solve this right now. What a ridiculous situation.

Check for updates. I noticed one was hanging around last night but didn’t install. When I went and looked at it lo and behold it’s an HP printer support update.
Yesterday’s update did not fix the issue
I tried downloading the HP easy install and it wouldn't work. Didn't download, couldn't be opened. I am stuck with that same warning on the screen.

Another person wasn’t able to launch it too. But you say it wouldn’t download?
I did everything above. Didn’t work. I finally trashed & then emptied HP monitoring service. Restarted. It finally went away. 🙌🏽
I tried to open the HP easy start and it said it was still downloading. Its icon bounces but doesn't open. I had to force quit it. Tried to open it again but, it does nothing when you click on it.
Found I had to keep clicking on "OK" on the popup for HPDeviceMonitoring.framework to get the next step going.
