Hello Lindenbaum,
I've just got rid of it by:
Good luck!
Try this solutions from HP Community. It worked for many.
I have nothing to go past the first page with. It flat out won’t open the app.
I reloaded the HP print drivers from the Apple support site, NOT the HP site (it was useless to say the least) and that fixed it. Took almost half an hour though!
Campbelle1, Could you post a link to the file you downloaded?
Today, easy start did open. But in the menu next to the Apple, there is no option for uninstall.
Killajewel - that seems likes a very simple fix! Are you still up and running? I think I may just try that!
I already had the latest version of MAC OS and I'm still having the pop-up. The HP Easy Start App will not open on my mac. It constantly bounces and then goes to "not responding".
I think they want your computer administratorks password, so what you enter to start it up or make changes.
My apple system just had a notice that there was an update to the HP printer software! maybe should have released that yesterday!!! I just installed/updated that, and am hoping no more scary notices!
I tried the technique from BryanCustomPure. It has slowed the appearance of the unwanted dialog boxes, but it has not eliminated them.
Shopww,
Immediately after launching the Easy Start, look under the menu. If you do any action before that (other than launching) the Uninstall menu item will be dimmed and unavailable.
🤞🤞
Last thing I did was update the Zoom App and restart. On Catalina, MBPro.
I had this problem. I have an HP printer and I used the HP site diagnostic help. It worked.
Thanks! It worked! Catalina and hp printer.
Worked like a charm!! Thank you ! Thank you !
