I have a an apple superdrive and a macbook pro. the MacBook has 3 USB-c ports. The superdrive has a USB-A cable. I have two different adapters, and in both cases i'm getting an error telling me that the superdrive needs power and i need to plug it into " a usb port on the mac." Well, it's already plugged in. I don't know what is wrong, I have had both devices for years and never saw this happen before. Running MacOS Catalina.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! From your post, it sounds like you're no longer able to use your USB Superdrive with your Mac as it's notifying you to connect via USB.
