Macbook Pro - Black screen, resets not working, but VO is on.

Hi - I have a 2019 MacBook Pro with touchbar. The laptop screen suddenly stopped working yesterday after going in to sleep mode. When I rebooted it stopped working entirely, except when I did the SMC reset the keyboard lights up and VO works. Screen still black. VO now says “voiceover on, username” but nothing else. When I hit enter after that it says “username”. Apart from that the Mac looks completely dead. I tried to hard shutdown it, reset NVRAM and SMC but no progress. Any ideas–

Try to adjust the screen brightness in case it got lowered all the way. Sometimes you must first log into macOS before the brightness controls will work.

You can try an SMC Reset and a PRAM reset.

Otherwise you can try using an external display until you can have the laptop repaired.
