just doing a Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings
worked for me
Yep i tried this app as well. My Lidar scanner seems to be working just fine.
Yes mine is the graphite one with the same issue
This solved it for me, thanks.
Solved it for me as well, thanks!
I’ve never reset my iPhone like this. Will I lose my home screen setup? Is there anything I should do before I reset?
How do you set up a support case? I really dont want to do reset settings unless absolutely necessary
what info do I lose, I know passwords and Apple Pay card info. What else? Thx
This worked!! Thank you so much. Was worried I received a defective iPhone.
Brilliant! I can’t believe I didn’t think of this. No need to go nuclear with reset settings.
Ditto for me, as well. I can measure other objects by setting points. But, it doesn’t recognize a person and automatically measure their height. It keeps flashing “Move closer” or “Move further away.”
So I received my 12pro max today and like others couldn’t get the measure to work..... I had restored from an iCloud backup.
As per the answer by tixo_b I did reset all settings and now all good.
Agreed. Nuking the settings is not worth it to fix this. There has to be a firmware update coming out that will do it.
Nope. Spoke too soon. Deleting and reinstalling the measure app did not work for me.
It has trouble detecting people when they wear masks
