Are you Installing Drivers?
Well, the software title (SWHelper) seems a bit suspicious, as if it were downloading whatever it can find. So, if you are looking to drivers, then no, it would not be safe, in this case.
If Downloaded, where to go from here:
A. Scan with Malwarebytes for Mac:
Malwarebytes searches for malware (short for (malicious software) and spyware. Those make your Mac act in a mislead manor. So scan with it, and remove what is found from the quarantine. It is created by longtime users of these forums making it the only reliable Security Software for a Mac. If synced with iPad connected, it may have got installed on your Mac.
Downloads:
B. Contact HP:
You can go through the Manufacturer (HP). Get the drivers from not other than HP. Elsewise, you may end up installing malware or spyware.

Is it not from HP as you intimated in the Title?
More context might be helpful.
Your question is confusing. Are you trying to load/transfer an app from your HP computer to your Mac? Or are you trying to do something else?
