Can not receive SMS on iPhone 12 Pro
After finally getting my new iPhone up and running (iOS 14.1) I had issues staying connected to the network. After several calls to AT&T that seems resolved. I went to get a code sent to me via SMS to verify an account to sign in and never received it. I changed the number as a test and my wife’s iPhone received it and she is on the 11 Pro still. Multiple attempts failed for me to receive anything. ATT has tried having me reset carrier settings and everything they could think of and said their “engineers” would have to investigate. I turned off WiFi and changed my setting to SMS only and sent a text which successfully goes through. If anyone responds via text I get nothing. I’ve toggle everything off and on, tried rebooting, and resetting carrier settings. iMessages work fine but any SMS messages or verification like Twitter, etc I do not receive. Just curious if anyone has experienced this issue and if is widespread. This has to be by far the worst transition with AT&T I’ve every experienced. Both my boys with new 12’s have have the same issue. Thanks in advance.
