My phone is constantly showing a small blue icon for a mic and also when I lock my phone it’s saying Voice Control No long listening? Why is this? It wasn’t until I set up Siri that cannot be right?

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand you're noticing the icon of Voice Control appearing in the status bar of your iPhone, when it's locked. We'll be happy to help.
To help troubleshoot this behavior, we recommend to temporarily turn off, Voice Control in Settings > Accessibility > Voice Control. Then, restart your iPhone and turn on, Voice Control. Please test your device and see if you continue to experience the same behavior.
