iPhone 12 Pro speaker audio issues

I had to go and get the part replaced. Since they didn’t have the part they were gonna send my phone to Apple. But it was gonna take no less than 2 weeks with a holder phone (iPhone 8 or older; Apple’s policies are silly); so I just went through my carrier insurance and they sent me a phone next day.

So I was able to meet with a Genius” personnel and got my issue resolved. What fixed it was to reset the settings. The only way they could understand is to actually physically listen to what I was saying face to face. And when he heard my problem, eureka!!!!!!

no one at the store had even seen my problem before. So you might try that.

Same here sounded as if speaker was blown or torn at times. I took it into Apple. They ran diagnostics and it came back as good but person running diagnostics heard it as well. They kept it overnight, going to pick up tomorrow. Said they are going to replace the speaker and see if that fixes it? Will find out tomorrow.

I had my speakers popping and cracking on my first iPhone 12. I had to send it in and get a replacement. I got another broken one. Then I send that one in and got it replaced. (Both under warranty). The third one was a lot better, still terrible iPhone speakers though, but better. Now a couple of months later it’s getting worse again. No compensation, no nothing.

Same type of problem, but on an Iphone 12 mini. Sounds get stuck, sounds start playing on a loop, caller can't hear me(nor me him).

It goes away with a phone restart, but the problem is that it happened twice in the same day now...

iPhone 12 here, sometimes static noise can be heard in both speakers, typing and locking sound have volume variation, sound increase as you type same thing happen when locking the device with the button repeatedly. Installed iOS 14.2 GM and issue is still there.

i have the same issue when I'm making phone calls. it's like the sound of electric brush but very subtle. I had to use airpods because it's very uncomfortable. has anyone have the same specific problem with me?

Having the exact same issue! Weird question: Does anyone else who is having this problem ALSO use a wireless charger? I am contemplating whether or not the wireless magnet charger has contributed to the problem?

I’m having a similar issue with the reverb. While typing on the keyboard, the sound of the keys being pressed keeps playing even after I’ve stopped typing, closed out of all apps and locked the phone. The only solution is to restart the device.

I’ve noticed constant crackling noises coming from the speaker depending on what I’m watching specifically. Homemade videos on Instagram or Facebook seem to be the worst. However, my music and streaming videos sound fine. I’m wondering if it’s not my phone and rather the quality of other videos that my phone is picking up on.

Absolutely no issues with my 12 Pro Max but that of course doesn’t mean you aren’t having issues with your device.

Yep, that happens to me too, on an iPhone 12 mini.

My IPhone 12 pro’s sound has become off by itself. I get no incoming calls sound, text, and mail sound notifications.

Any help?
