Cannot Airplay my MacBook Pro after all troubleshooting

I have tried all the troubleshooting advice and can even mirror my husband’s MacBook Pro which is older and I still can’t connect mine. In the Display settings, it won’t even toggle from off to AppleTV it just glitches to Off and stays there even though the option is there on the drop down and in the toolbar up top. Please help!

Reset SMC by following the directions applicable to your MacBook here ➔ How to Reset SMC. If that does not solve things then-
Reset NVRAM/PRAM by following the directions applicable to your MacBook here ➔ How to Reset NVRAM/PRAM. If that does not solve things then-
Enter ➔ Safe Mode. Log out of Safe Mode and then reboot computer. If that does not solve things then-
Finally if none of the above works then you can enter ➔ macOS Recovery Mode and reinstall the macOS and see if that solves it.
