Unlocking Mac not working on newly bought Apple Watch Series 5.

Just got a Series 5 and can't get it unlocking the Mac to work. It worked on my Series 4. I did a fresh installation of the watch (watchOS 7.0.2) and I restarted my Mac (Latest Big Sur Beta). My iPhone X is on iOS 14.1 and Handoff and such is enabled. Bluetooth is on.

As I started, to did work on my Series 4.

Apple Watch no longer unlocks iMac I know this has been asked and answered before, but since they were older posts, I thought I would ask again. I just updated my iPhone to iOS 16.0.2 and my Apple Watch Series 5 to WatchOS 9 and it no longer will unlock my M1 24" iMac running MacOS 12.6. It has worked fine in the past before the update, so I assume it has something to do with that. Everything is still logged in to the same Apple ID account and logged in on the the same WiFi and Bluetooth. Is anyone else having this issue and have you been able to fix it? I don't know if we have to wait for a MacOS update or not. Thanks.

Setup of unlocking macbook pro m1 with apple watch 8 fail I just get info that macbook can't communicate with apple watch. on both devices bluetooth and wifi are turned ON, I have try to restart macbook pro and still the same problem. Watch was on my hand and unlocked, iphone was next to macbook and unlocked... watch unlock iphone without a problem, but I can't set it up for macbook. did anyone had the same problem?

Apple watch does not unlock Mac Mini I have an M1 Mac mini and an Apple Watch Series 6. Up until this morning, it faithfully unlocked my Mac. I have turned off unlock with Watch, restarted my Mac, turned unlock back on. It says synced but does not unlock my Mac. My Mac/watch/iPhone have all been updated to the latest updates. Any suggestions what I can try next?
