Apple watch activation lock

I have a 7000 gen apple watch and one time i gave it to a friend to help him pass an exam. And when he gave it to me he was signed in with his icloud on my watch, so i simply told him to write it down for me. And guess what? He forgot it. So now there’s an activation lock on my apple watch and i cant seem to fix it. So, is there anything i can do?
