The 1 year free trial is for Apple TV + not Apple TV. You can learn how to redeem it by clicking Apple TV+ One Year Offer. Remember you have 90 days from the purchase of the qualifying product to redeem it, also if you are already an Apple TV + subscriber then you do not qualify.
