Separate Facetime numbers on two iPads, and one Apple ID
Hi there, Can someone explain to me how to have my wife's new iPad be able to facetime with her phone number separately? We have one Apple ID only. Thanks

Not possible whilst sharing an AppleID...
The Golden Rule: Don’t share an AppleID between users. Each user should have their own AppleID for their own exclusive use - linked to their own primary email (and secondary/recovery email addresses and trusted telephone numbers). Sharing an AppleID causes multiple practical and data security issues.
You would be best advised to separate your digital identities and configure a new AppleID for the second user:

After separating your identities, you can make FaceTime calls using different contact details.
You can continue to selectively share purchased Apple Services, Subscriptions, Apps and Media using Apple’s Family Sharing features:
