Macbook Pro Mid-2012 (dual hard drives) Catalina Upgrade Causing Beachballs

I have a dual hard drive set up. The main one running the system is a 250 GB SSD. I am running a user (for Documents, Downloads, etc.) on a 1 TB HDD. I am also running 16 GB RAM. For some reason, the main SSD is saying the 500 GB of files I have on the HDD are on the SSD, which I believe is slowing it down. Rapidly Running out of Space on Catalina I am on Catalina 10.15.6, Macbook Pro (15-inch, 2017). I have about 55 GB of free space available. However since this morning I have noticed that this space rapidly starts to reduce at about 1 MB per second! This is without launching any application. I am monitoring the usage on CleanMyMac. However when I restart my machine, the space is restored and the cycle starts all over again. Is there some way of finding out what is consuming the free space?

"Other" section in the Storage Management is consuming a huge amount of storage Hi, my Macbook Pro (2019, 250GB, Catalina) prompted that my storage is almost full. I checked in the Storage Management and found that the "Other" section is consuming approximately 90GB of my storage. I wonder if there is any method to check what files are under that category so that I could decide which one I want to remove. I have tried searching in the other posts and forums and so far only found the information about clearing cache, which I believe that it should not take up to 90GB. Are there any other things I should look for? Thank you in advance!

"Other" in Storage increases as I delete files and empty Trash. I just upgraded from Mojave to Catalina and I noticed that the "other" in my storage has appeared to be big. I initially thought that it was just the system trying to identify some files after the update. The big problem here now is that the space that the "other" increases in is identical to the mb/gb that I empty in the trash. Which means that if I keep emptying un-needed files then I would be left with 0 gb of memory. I have included an Etrecheck Report for this.
