iPad Air 4th Gen - Lock/Unlock

Just got a new iPad Air (4th Gen) and there is no Lock/Unlock in the Display & Brightness Settings. Why is this not present? I have a case that has the magnet to lock/unlock, but I can't figure out turning that feature on.

Lockscreen problems I just got my new iPad 7, and it turns out that i have to press the power/home button for it to show my lockscreen. Can i access my lockscreen with only tapping the screen and not pressing the power/home button? Your help would be appreciated! Sorry for any grammar mistakes, english is not my first languange.

“Always On Display” for the iPhone 14 Pro Max Before upgrading to the new iPhone 14 (Pro Max) I wanted to see if you could turn OFF the “always on” display they’ve been hyping up. I couldn’t find any info on this so I reached out via Twitter and messaged Apple directly. They said it only goes off if I put it in my pocket or turn it upside down. What?!!! There are times I don’t want to turn my screen over (say on a dirty table) but need it out to quickly check for updates. I’m also in a profession where I can’t have people looking at what’s coming through my “locked screen.” Is there a work around to this feature so I can turn it off? If not, I won’t be making the purchase until a fix is made available. 🤦🏽‍♀️

It sounds like you are unable to find the Lock / Unlock option in Settings for your iPad Air.

Here's a resource that can help: About the iPad Smart Folio and Smart Cover

Ensure you have the correct Smart Folio for your iPad Air and that it is connected properly.
Once it is connected, see if it wakes or sleeps automatically. If it does not, check for this setting again.
