Hello chelseacarter29,
A lot of work goes into completing your workouts, and you want to see this sync with your iPhone. We have some good steps to try and see if we can get your workouts syncing again.
1-Unpair your Apple Watch from your iPhone: Unpair and erase your Apple Watch
- Open the Watch app on the iPhone.
- Go the My Watch tab and tap All Watches.
- Tap the "i" icon next to the watch to unpair.
- Tap Unpair Apple Watch.
- Unpairing the watch erases it and triggers a backup.
- For GPS + Cellular models, choose to keep the cellular plan when prompted.
2-On iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. Turn Health on if it isn't already on.
3-Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup. Then tap “Back Up Now.” Wait for the data to back up.
- If you can't back up using iCloud, you can restore it from an encrypted iTunes/local backup that was taken from a device running iOS 13. (A non-encrypted iTunes or local backup resolves the issue, but previous health data will be lost).
4-Once you have a backup:
- Open the Health app on the iPhone, tap Profile from the top right. At the very bottom of the screen, it should say: "Health data was last backed up at..."
- If the time listed isn't recent, wait for the backup to complete. Then check the Health app again to verify you have a recent backup.
5-Erase all content and settings from the iPhone. Go to Settings > General > Reset. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
6-When the iPhone restarts, you will get the option to set up as new or restore from a backup. You can choose to restore from an iCloud backup, restore from an encrypted local backup from iOS 13, or set up as new.
7-After the iPhone has been restored, pair your Apple Watch.
- On the iPhone, open the Watch app.
- Tap Start Pairing.
- Tap Restore from Backup.
- Choose the most recent backup to restore.
If you still have trouble getting your information to sync, you may want to contact Apple Support.
Take care!
