Just got the iphone 12 and i have a group of 8 ppl in a message. I realized that some messages are not showing up in the chat. I only know this because some are emphazing or laughing at a message that i dont even see??? It might be a non iphone use but im not sure. I have all the mms n sms on. I looked farther up the group chat to look for the messages being emphazied but cant find them?

FIXED!!!! So Apple went thru the Logs that I uploaded last week and a Senior Tech last night went thru them and found a T-Mobile-specific fix: TURN OFF WIFI CALLING. They shouldn’t affect each other but they do and the temporary work-around is to switch off WiFi Calling and I am now getting all my Group Messages. Apple will issue a patch in a future iOS release. So here’s hoping it works for you!!

I have this happen when it is all iPhone users as well! Spent 3 hours on phone between apple and Verizon and both state it is not their issue - but Verizon at least was aware of issue.

My wife's 12 Pro is having the same issue. We've tried troubleshooting with Apple and have not had any improvement. Our carrier is Verizon.

Still no fix. Tempted to go back to the Beta but it doesn’t say anywhere that it addresses the group texting issue. And I don’t want to turn in a phone, or send it back with a beta version on it.

My Wi-Fi calling is off, so no help there. So frustrating.
