Missing Mail folders

I recently had to wipe my MacBook Air and reinstall everything. I'm now in pretty good shape, except my Mail is missing some emails that I had in storage folders. Entire folders are missing.

One thought that occurs to me is that I have three different Apple ID accounts. Is it possible that different emails and folders are associated with different accounts? And if so, is it possible to pull in emails into Mail from three different accounts and combine them all?

Or am I on the wrong track? What else should I do to find and restore these missing folders?

Folders created on my Mac section don't stay on web server / only mails are saved , after reinstallation of Mac the hard drive is erased the mail application is to be configured https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mail/mail35803/mac

And folders will never sync even you try to rebuild them .

A single Apple ID and its password is signed in Mac system preferences , if you mean to say different apple address associated with yahoo / gmail ..etc are added in internet accounts , their data never mix up ( it could be mails or any data ) and secured .
