I've only had my iPhone 12 pro for 3 days, haven't left the house & yet I already have significant scratches on the 'super strong' ceramic glass front screen! Anyone else experienced this? #notveryhappy

Well, after contacting both Vodafone (my upgrade provider) and Apple, the response for both was no replacement.. Apple support encouraged me to write up a proper negative feedback, which i did and neither of them offered any care advice.
After a bit of research I bought a screen protector by Mous Uk, what they call hybrid glass, and Im very happy wt it. It comes wt an applicator and instructions and I cannot notice the scratches underneath it now, also the touch response is the same as not using any protector. I just wish I knew beforehand about this screen flaw in the new models as I would have waited and installed this even before i turned on the phone for the first time. I never had that with previous models, my last Iphone XS was used wt no screen protector for two years and nothing like this happened.
Apple should definitely review and improve this glass screen, this is not good enough for a device this expensive. #unimpressed
Well, I know it now… Thanks for your wise comment but it’s not very helpful. I would have applied a screen protector if I had known the screen was that prone to scratches. I had never used a screen protector on my phones and I was just fine.
This was supposed to be an unbreakable, state-of-the-art screen.
By the way, I did just get a screen protector now at the Apple Store, but it’s too late, the scratches are still very visible. I guess that’s it then.
Theres no way my screen has been damaged by a knife or worse! Very confused
What do you think caused the scratches?
Did you use a cloth to clean the display?
I honestly have no idea, i'm baffled & disappointed :(
Ive had my iphone 12 for 2 days of very light and careful use; Scratches are present. Very upset hopefully apple will take care of this issue
Yes! I had the same problem with the 11 Pro and now the 12. Not happy either. I don't want to have to use a screen protector. That's ridiculous. Ugh.
i had my 12pro max for 1 day, no falling, i found a deep scratch on front screen on second day

Same here! I'm going to get on the phone with them today and ask for a replacement with the problem corrected. If they can't deliver a solution I will be returning the phone. I'll keep you posted.

Actually I’d prefer it that way; screen protector harder to scratch whilst my iPhone screen is harder to crack.
i believe you. It was an amazing experience. Dropped from the roof as I was working, landed on a concrete driveway. I though for sure it was over for the screen.
After 7 days this scratch appears on my screen for no reason. What is going on Apple? I see more people are having problems. This is a 1600 euro phone! #nothappy
Is my sweatshirt pocket harder than glass?? Are my hands harder than glass? Those are the only things it came in contact with.
