chromecast

My macbook air can not find device recently. It works fine for many years. I enabled the load-media-router-component-extension, Screen recording permissions in privacy settings was allowed. But my chrome "cast" still can not find the device (chromecast). Can anyone help me to solve this problem ?

Chromecast does not work with MacOS 10.15.5 I just finished talking with the Google Chromecast Tech Support, since my MacBook does not detect the chromecast. My iphone, windows laptop, android phone, and android tablet all work with chromecast without any problem. After several tests, they confirmed that the problem is with MacOS 10.15.5, and that it is Apple who should push an update to fix the problem. However, I have no idea how to contact the right person at Apple, that is why I open this thread here. Am I the only one experiencing this problem? I have Chromecast 1st gen, connected to a 2.4GHz wifi. I tried my Macbook both with the 5.8GHz wifi connection and with the same 2.4GHz connection, and in both cases chrome says that no casting device is found. Please, help.

Does MacBook Air M1 doesn't support Chromecast? I tried casting my screen using google chrome from my MacBook Air M1 to my Chromecast inbuilt android tv, but sometimes its does not shows my tv name, or when it does, and I try to connect with it, the tv gets connect and freezes the screen. Is anyone having the same issue? Does M1 does not support Chromecast yet? I tried to mirror it with other devices too, and non of them worked

My MacOS: Catalina 10.15.7

Chrome: 86.0.4240.111( (x86_64)

Chromecast : version 3rd generation

But it works well with my Android phone & windows laptop ??!!
