OMG - what is going on with the HP "malware" debacle? I haven't been able to print for a week - can't uninstall HP, keep getting MALWARE messages - does anyone have a solution?

Me too, no idea how to handle that, gave up on hp printers decades ago when I had plenty of Ink but hp thought the cartridges were too old & would not allow printing.
Which printer is it?
Generic PCL might work/

You reinstall the driver from HP, as they have seen the error of their ways, and re-signed their drivers.
or of your printer supports AirPrint, switch to AirPrint as that does not need an HP driver.
Or if your printer supports PostScript, use the generic macOS Postscript drivers.
But HP is suppose to have fixed their screw-up and re-signed their drivers.
They goofed up their certificates, visit their site & install newest driver.
