MacBook Pro print to PDF

Suddenly "print to PDF" does not respond when I select it on the list of printing options. How do I fix this?

Unable to Print One Document - Others Print Fine I have a MacBook Pro running MacOS 11.5.1. I have a Hewlett Packard Color LaserJet Pro M255dw printer set up to print wirelessly. There is one web document downloaded from my college that just won't print. I changed it to a pdf file but still no success. I emailed the file to my wife's computer but it won't print from there either. There seems to be no problem printing anything else. When I try to print the document, the printer app shows it looking for the printer, then says "waiting for the job to complete" but then that message goes away without the printer printing. The printer appears to be getting the information because it makes a noise like its about to print but then stops. Does anyone know what it could be with this one document that won't allow it to print?

Print Issue I have a Macbook Air, running Mojave 10.14.2. I am running Chrome Version 75.0.3770.142. My printing issue only concerns google, that is, when I try to print gmail, google docs etc. I have no issue when I try to print Mac Pages, for example. The issue is that the Print Dialogue screen is completely grayed out. The grayed out print destination field is frozen to a another printer in our home that doesn't even show up on System Preferences > Printers and Scanners. On the Print Dialogue screen, I can still print if I choose the "print using system dialogue" option. See image for details. Anyone got any ideas?

Save to PDF usually just does EXACTLY that, only saving the file.

Only when you dwell that option do you get a pop-up submenu that also shows "Open pdf in Preview", which will show the the finished output directly viewable.

No. Thanks for your question. When I attempt to print, and select "Save to PDF", no pop up occurs to save it. (It is working again now. Maybe an intermittent problem!)
