Hi I just got my iPhone 12 and I feel like the selfie camera is a bit blurry especially on Snapchat it looks like it’s a “Beaty filter” on compared to my old iPhone 8+ where I could see much more details in the selfie camera?

Im having the same issue. Regardless of snapchat, the front facing camera is so blurred and 'beauty filter like'.
Make sure you are using the most update Snapchat app and update it if you haven't. Other's have complained about Snapchat. That's not an Apple issue. It's a Snapchat issue with compatibility with iOS 14.1. Something Apple has no control over.
