error 4000
every time i plug my phone in to itunes it says about updating but at the end it comes up error 4000
can anybody tell me what this is and how to fix it please

it is a bug in itunes for windows 12.10.9 and 10
The only known workarounds are
- Downgrade to 12.10.8 or
- Disable Passcode temporarily on iphone (plays havoc with wallet) or
- Update over the air on Wifi
