Orange dot stays on during calls. Invasion of privacy!

After the ios 14 update the orange dot will not go away. I have turned all my apps off under the microphone setting, reset all settings, backup restored and the orange dot still appears while on a call. There needs to be an option to disable that also.

The orange dot will be on whenever the microphone is on. If you are on a call, if the microphone is not on then the person you want to talk to won’t hear you. To test this, when you are on a call tap the Mute button and the dot will go out. Or drag down to open the Control Center and it will show that it is the phone app that is causing the orange dot.

If you want to have phone calls where you only listen and can’t say anything back the tap Mute and the orange dot will go out.
