New iPhone 12 Bluetooth pairing problems

I too just remodeled a bathroom and installed the Homewerks speaker. It worked like a champ with my IPhone X. The 12 Pro max not only won’t connect, but this phone is so buggy it’s criminal.

This is an Apple problem! Where are answers Apple? A phone this expensive should at least be able to do what previous phones did x 1000.

I want a solution and comment from Apple!

Yep having the same issue. Bought my iPhone 12 pro max early Feb 2021. Bluetooth settings will find my homewerks speaker but won’t pair. I have been able to pair other Bluetooth devices but not this one in either bathroom. It’s very frustrating. Remodeled bathrooms and can’t use the speaker. Worked fine with my Samsung Galaxy but decided to switch to Team iPhone.

I was sent two replacement speakers for by bathroom fans by Homewerks when I filled out the link below (never did call support). Maybe try that to see if you all get any different response. I had an IPhone 6plus and upgraded to a 12 Pro. This new phone will not sync with my Wonderboom Ultimate Ears 1. It doesn’t even show in the lists of devices in the bluetooth settings. Is there an app for this particular model? The app for the Booms stated it didn’t support my original one. How can I get this to pair/sync with my new phone?

Why is this marked as solved? Still cant connect to my Teufel BT Headset and others still seem to have issues with different devices as well. It worked with previous apple devices, it still works with my iPad and my older iPhone and it works with my android devices (Tablets, phone of my wife). Only the iPhone 12 is a problem ...

Yes! Trying to connect my iPhone 12 to my Tribit Bluetooth speaker and nothing. What gives? Apple, you need to fix this! Never had a problem with previous phone. Tried resetting and all that. Really annoying.

I just brought my iphone 12 home and need it to pair with my 'old' iPhone. Did some things but didn't finish and won't pair now even though they are 'seeing' each other. I'm getting the same message/window as before on both of them: Pairing Unseccessful. Make sure " iphone" is turned on, in range, and is ready to start.

Well, both phones on, plugged in, side by side and ready to start- I think. But no go.

What to do?

Forgot to add, that there was no problem connecting to my iWatch. Just can't finish transfer of a number of apps such as WhatsApp. They're there but marked 'waiting'. But they never get there. Will I have to do them manually, app by app? Shouldn't be like that.

Just found the solution! There was a window to reenter my Apple ID for my iPhone. So some of the waiting apps are starting to load. Not all yet but that seems to be the solution. It does say to reenter the ID a second time. As I write this only WhatsApp and a couple more still in 'waiting' mode.

Go to settings> apple ID suggestions>Update Apple ID Settings where it tells us some account services not available until resigning in.

I hope this is the solution for the rest of them- my bank and other apps of that nature are not yet opening. That's still an issue.

Toby, I just bought my iphone 12 two/three weeks ago and no, I didn't have that problem as I settled into it. So perhaps it's something else. I would have suggested a full log out/shut down, wait a minute or two or more and then reopen to see what happens and whether it 'fixes' it or not. Sounds like you did that too. Sorry.

Same problem with Plantronics Bluetooth ear piece. Worked fine until new $1100 iPhone 12 Pro. As I drive down the freeway in a car without bIuetooth (so no interference possible) and approach semi-truck, each of the passing trucker's bluetooth devices appear on my iPhone 12 Pro screen but cannot get my Plantronics to show up on my phone! Not when I'm in the car, at home or anywhere else. FYI - the Plantronics works in two other privately owned vehicles with built in bluetooth. The Plantronics works in rental cars. The Plantronics works on my iPad but will not appear on my iPhone 12. VERY frustrating. What's the deal Apple??

it worked fine pairing with LG TV and other devices.

Is there anything particular that you are trying to pair ??
