I hope that’s true. My group text threads are fed up with me using them as testers (my family who I see in person regularly), so I’m not sure if it’s fixed. Many say it isn’t, so I’m inclined to believe them.
Update:
I went to my Apple appointment yesterday and the tech looked through my case notes. She checked my settings and everything and found this thread to look through.
The second she saw it was cross-carrier, she said, “this sounds like an Apple software issue, but they haven’t given us a report on it yet.” She sent it up her chain of command, which I appreciated. At least now I can stop annoying Verizon about it - just have to wait until Apple investigates and fixes it.
If you can, get any Apple techs to send your cases up the chain. The more complaints/cases about this they get through them, the faster the engineers can work to fix it for everyone!
