Sound play though speakers and not through Airpods in iPhone 11

I have connected my Airpods to my iPhone 11, but the sound continues to play though my speakers and not through my Airpods. It even made the connection sound when I put the Airpod in my ear.

AirPods connect to phone but sound keeps coming out of iPhone When I put my AirPods in my ear they make the noise that they are connected but when I go to play music the sound comes out of my phone. I’ve reset my AirPods twice and it’s the same thing. Anyone know how to fix the problem?

AirPods Pro working partially When I attempt to listen to music on my AirPods, I only get volume from my right airpod. My AirPods work fine when on a phone call. Is there something I need to do in the settings of my iPhone 11 pro max? Resetting was not successful.
