iPhone 12 Pro Messaging Issue

I got my iPhone 12 Pro on Launch Day and updated my cell plan to a 5G compatible plan. Had activation issues at the beginning (they’ve been resolved), but I have had multiple instances where my messages aren’t all being received that are sent to me (from both Apple and Android users).


I contacted Apple Support first on Sunday, where I did checks of my message settings, WiFi/cell connectivity, reset network settings, you name it, and then did a full restore. Apple Tech told me to go to my carrier is the issue persisted.


The issue came back on Tuesday, went to my local Verizon, swapped the SIM card, reset network settings, everything seemed fine until it happened again Wednesday. Contacted Verizon Tech Coach like I was told to by my local Verizon store, who had me remove my SIM card, reset my phone, and put it back in (blamed the issue on 5G updates, even though 5G isn’t active in my area at all yet), seemed fine, and now it’s started again with mixed message threads.


Made an appointment with Apple for service next week to see if it’s a hardware/antenna issue (the first Apple Tech said to have it replaced if Verizon couldn’t fix it, so if in-person Apple Support can’t, then I expect a replacement phone), but I’m wondering if I’m the only Pro user experiencing this issue...
