Separate subs to Apple One

I have Apple Music, iCloud storage (2TB), and Apple News shared with a family member. I have subscribed to Apple One (Premier). I am assuming all my current subscriptions will be cancelled and I will begin being billed for Apple One (Premier) with the next billing cycle and all my current data for those services will remain intact? Am I right?

Hello svennw!

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you are wanting to know what happens to your current subscriptions when you sign up for Apple One. We will be glad to assist.

Check out this helpful article under the "How to get Apple One" section it will show "If you already subscribe to Apple Music, Apple News+, Apple Arcade, or Apple TV+, you don't need to cancel those subscriptions. They will automatically be canceled when you're billed for Apple One."

Get Apple One

Cheers.

Beware this isn't the case always. I had subscribed to Apple Music and 200G storage and had a free trial in process for Apple TV. On November 24, I signed up for Apple One and was given a 1 month free trial, and read the statement about it being automatically switched over. However, in looking at my bank statement, it appears I was again charged for the previously subscribed services individually (200G storage and Apple Music). The Apple TV was still on the 1 year free trial, so it did not bill but is still listed individually. Do I need to apply for a refund?

Hello Jeff_W.

What happens if, as in my family, different Apple services are subscribed to under different Apple IDs? I do have these same family members included in Family Sharing under my Apple ID. If I subscribe to Apple One Premiere using my Apple ID, will my family member's iCloud storage plans and Apple Music libraries be automatically subsumed under Apple One even though these services are currently subscribed to using different Apple IDs? Thanks for any insights.
