This worked like a champ! Even took care of the problems on my IPad as well.

This annoying pop-up has just appeared in my phone now as well. Reading through comments I don’t see a fix that has stuck yet.

Well, it’s back. The issue solved itself a few days ago, and now it’s back again.

Its still going strong on my iPhone Se 2020 but I haven’t had it show up on my IPad Pro or my Galaxy s20+ .

I have tried all steps except the SSL one as when going to advanced settings in the mail account none of the information appears apart from deleted or archive options. So no option to turn off SSL

yes, but do you have to do the same on iMac? I get this message on my iPhone 11 and on my new MacBook Air and they were both recently updated...

I have this issue only on my iPhone X, (using 14.1), not my MacBook pro or iPad.

I felt the same as could not remember password but I did it and after 1 hour I was back to normal with my emails.

I now have the new outlook app and I love it! Easier to use.

I had the same. It will start again. Give a few days.

Did you create your hotmail/outlook/msn account by using the Outlook.com option? If not. Delete that account and recreate it using the Outlook.com option.

I just recreate the original hotmail account. Not sure what the outlook.com option is.
