iPad magic keyboard

Hi,

I am interested in buying the latest iPad Pro. I have seen the magic keyboard and like how sturdy it feels, as I would like to be able to use as a laptop (on my lap) too. The Smart Keyboard was too flimsy for that. Does anyone know whether the magic keyboard folds backwards to act as a stand? I don’t think it does which might change my mind about purchasing! Maybe I’m looking for the best of both worlds
