My iphone 12 is just 2 days old and I am facing really bad battery drain overnight. I had almost 90% left for couple of days before I had gone to sleep and woke up with a remaining battery of around 65%. The battery chart has nothing for these hours. And moreover my mail push is set to manual and I had turned off wifi, bluetooth, location and mobile data. Is there something I can do to stop this?

It doesn't take much to understand that if your battery drains from 88 percent to 30 percent while IDLE and not being used in the middle of the night, that there's a problem. Doesn't take a level 10 to understand that. It's a problem that needs fixed. This entire thread is exactly about trying to SOLVE that problem. Some level 10's dismiss any discussion about it and write people off as un-intelligent because they don't agree with your bandaid approach of constantly having to plug the phone in. Is it helpful to write people off who are looking for a real solution? Does that qualify as "helping people for many years?" And I'm about to leave this forum for good, as it seems to have some level 10s that are quite dismissive of any other opinion than theirs in regards to my comments. All I got was grief from this forum, and all because I dared to want to solve a big problem with my phone. Shame on me. I should just be quiet and plug my phone in and do as the level 10s say, because they're the smart ones.
I am facing the same problem. I have been using this phone for last 4 days and it is draining 10-12% overnight. I contacted apple they said my battery is okay and told me to exchange the phone is I feel like it. How is that a solution!
Also I am not using any major social media app, even youtube shows less the. 30 mins screenon time.
No access to 5G where I live and I have adopted every battery saving techniques.

Yup, contacted apple support they say that my phone is normal. Seriously, iphone 12 is the worst iphone ever bought from apple, iphone 11 is so much better, apple act like 5G is the next big thing when the battery cannot even last the whole day, I need to carry a powerbank account whenever I go out becuase thanks to apple lousy iphone and battery capacity. I can tell you no matter how many iphone you exchange, how many freaking batteries you change, it is still going to be sh*t.
I do not get it, I had it once only right after I bought it. Do the system updates, and maybe enable dark mode. The battery does great for me. And you can leave it to charge overnight, it has a smart system of managing the charge not to mess the battery. But the 1st thing, do you have a proper charger for it, old ones will not cut it!
Try to set the phone to do not disturb, had a similar issue over the weekend and it was due to multiple notifications overnight, that keep putting the screen on, specially like a group chat or some similar
Unfortunatelly, there is not solution to this. Community is not able to help. Just accept that it happens sometimes, I accepted it. It happened to me 2 days ago, battery drained from 80% to 5% in only 4 hous over night. It's a bug. You can report it to apple but do not expect any help.
Most of us charge our devices when we sleep.

Drained from 90 to 70 % with usage
I turned Wi-Fi and mobile data off (always stays off at home) last night and surprisingly the drain was only 4%. It appears a combination of factors affecting the battery.
Umm same here man... mine was ON CHARGE while sleeping and still drained like crazy
Try torn off airdrop. Im at second night and my phone stop draining
Just go back to the store and get another and give the broken one back. At least that’s what I did and look no battery draining
My drain tonight, WiFi off, Bluetooth on but not connected to any device
its the same battery use in standby as in daytime when I use my phone
