Could I have the Recent Folder shortcut on the SideBar in Finder ?
THe Recent Folder is under the Go menu in Finder, which is very inconvenient
Open Finder Preferences > Sidebar. Check "Recents".

OK thanks. I knew about this and so I created such a Smart Folder long ago. Buy as it is mentioned in that article.. Apple has no option for recent folder (nor apps) on the side bar. They are in other locations which you need to remember

Hey there! My first response was the same as dialabrain, thanks for that extra information though!
I believe that is more of a feature than an actual file location though, which of course Finder cannot do.
I did however find this article on it though, a little tweak if adding a smart folder:

If that isn’t what you’re looking for, then sorry, not sure there is a default action for that function, Hope it works out though!
