Repeat reminders not keeping the time set

Ever since the iOS 14 update, the reminders I have set to repeat at a specific time every day aren’t keeping the time I’ve set when I clear the reminder. Every single time it resets to 12am the following day instead of the time I had it set, meaning I have to manually set the time ever day for the next days task. I’ve tried deleting the reminders and re-making them but it didn’t change anything.

This doesn’t seem to be a problem on reminders I have set to monthly - the one monthly reminder I’ve had go off since the update set the next one for the same time next month.

Issue resolved on my own. It turns out my reminders were linked to my email address instead of being local (still not sure how to set them up locally? The option didn’t seem available despite my friends reminders being ‘local’).

Turned on iCloud and set reminders up there and they repeat with the correct time. Must be a bug with email reminders.

Hello Sochuffed,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We understand from your post that daily reminders are not keeping the time you have set and have to be manually set every day. Make sure you set the reminder to repeat Daily. When creating a new reminder tap Repeat and select Daily.

I know how reminders work. I’ve been using them for as long as I’ve had an iphone which is about 8 years.

these are reminders I had set up and working perfectly fine until ios 14 was installed. Ever since ios14, the time that I set on the repeat reminders defaults back to 12:00am the following day every time I clear the task for that day.

I tried deleting the tasks and re-creating them, but that didn’t work.

As you can see in the photo, they are set up to repeat daily, and they do repeat daily, it just changes the time to 12:00am every time it repeats instead of keeping the time that i had set
