cannot find launchpad on my macbook pro

Safari quit working and cannot find launchpad....a notice appears all the time saying SafariBookmarksSyncAgent quit....I have tried everything and need your help...by the way I have Clean my Mac installed and the scan shows no malware...

Safari closes immediately after application launch Safari closes immediately after application launch I've read through as many fixes for this as I can find, including removing the entire Safari folder within the ~/Library folder, starting up in Safe Mode, and creating a 2nd admin account (Safari works fine on that one, if that's a clue for anything); MacOS shows no updates available. Safari still crashes within a second of its windows appearing. I'm mostly stumped by how Safari knows what windows I had open the last time it crashed if I've removed all the Preference, Cache, etc. files from the Library. Every time I open it, it presents the exact same pair of windows (the main browser window with several tabs open and the Preferences window showing the Manage Website Data... button). Running First Aid on the drive has yet to reveal any issues. When I open the Get Info Finder window for the Safari app, it does show something I've never seen before: 4 lines in the Sharing & Permissions section: everyone - Custom system - Read & Write wheel - Read only everyone - Read only I don't think there should be two "everyone"s. And trying to delete the one that's deletable (wheel) produces a pop-up that says I don't have privileges to do so (even though I'm Admin). Doing a file search on my Mac reveals several other Safari-related folders and files, but I'm not sure which I should start trying to remove. Most are related to "Frameworks" and "LaunchAgents."

Safari keeps freezing on launch & I can't access preferences to clear cache Hi, I'm on Mac OS 10.15 and having trouble w/ Safari crashing/freezing immediately on launch w/ over a dozen windows opening immediately. Fyi, I had too many windows open at the time my Mac first crashed and so there is a continuous loop of the windows opening immediately after I've *Force Quit*. Since Safari is "frozen" (just the spinning wheel), I'm unable to go into the app to change things within Preferences. So, I did the following but nothing changed: --Clearing via reboot --Reinstalling the Safari app --Going into ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/ and manually clearing from folder --Running malwarebytes to see if anything was infected from withing the browser. (It wasn't.) What else can I do? I look forward to some suggestions. Thanks, EC Moran

the first thing i would do is uninstall clean my mac. it is complete garbage, and may be the root of your problem. second i would recommend looking at this page. and finally i recommend downloading etrecheck (app store or etrecheck.com) and running it. allow etrecheck "full disk access". then copy the report and post it here. it will likely point out the culprit. it hides your personal info, so there's no worry of sharing that info here.

also, launchpad should be in your applications folder.
