Dear Specialist,

This is a firmware issue (new bluetooth chipset) or IOS fix (14.2 didnt fix it) needed, the problem is affecting all major brands of hearing aids, just look at multiple posts with "ear aids iphone 12" you'll see number of posts with sames issues, crackling, white noises, disconnections, while it worked fine on iphone 11 series.

There's no turnaround with trying anything on iphone 12 sadly, this must be fixed by your ingeniors/ hardware specialist to either check the bluetooth firmware or work on a fix on next update. support has been contacted by many users but we could appreciate if your can escalate this issue on your side to the good department. Most earing disable ppl are stuck or sending back iphones 12 because of this.

Thanks for your help

i can't tell all i can say is some of us did feedback of it, either on apple feedback form, talked about it on a specialist on phone which escalated the problem for all brands of MFI HA, etc. There's also a American manufacturer, Starkey which is well know now, who can talk directly to Apple in america about this as their HA are concerned too.

Can't say if they will solve it soon or not but i believe they will as they fixed HA problems in the past too.

In my case i'm not much impacted but for those needing to have their HA linked permanently, guess there's not much choice to wait before buying iphones 12 until it's solved.

My advice would be taking the 11 pro or pro max, as there is not that much differences outside the photo department.

I m more a gamer and i like photography so the new chipset and improvements are fine enough to take the latest model.

Now it's not as if it's completely broken too, i could play some songs without problems for a lil while on an ip 12 of the family, just bugging a bit here and there but again i just listen music not using HA for other things.
