new iPhone 12.... dictation will work in search bars but not in any text boxes....Like this one... I could not dictate this question but I can go to the search bar and hit the mic and it will work... restarted phone. Nothing helps.

Looks like you are having some trouble with your iPhone 12 not being able to use Dictation in all apps. We want to help! Make sure you allow access to the mic in the apps that aren't working. You can do that by going to Settings > Privacy > Microphone > Enable the app that you want to use dictation in.
