Only one AirPod is connecting to my iPhone and Mac

I have been using my AirPods 2 for more than a year now and I recently had this problem of only one ear connecting to my iPhone and mac , I have forgotten and reset the AirPods countless times, The problem then developed to the point that my left and right AirPods 2 connect as 2 different bluetooth devices and I actually loved these AirPods but now it’s just frustrating
