Location services keep turning off / MacBook Pro , Mojave

Traveling internationally, I need my location services on, but am noticing that it defaults to 'off' with every restart, without having detected my new location.

Would someone have a solution to this problem ?

I tried another user, but there was no difference.

MyOS is updated, but I have had the rubles for a long time, through several updates / upgrades.

I was eventually able to switch location manually, but before this, Date and Time ‘told’ me that m location was Chicago,US, but stayed in the EU time zone!

Do a good bit of international traveling, and the Auto location feature has never worked for me, as I always have to go to the manual setting.

I do appreciate your help and effort Sharhari - Thanks

Try reboot in safe mode, change your system preferences for location services and see if it retains.

NoteSafe mode prevents your Mac from loading certain software as it starts up, including login items, system extensions not required by macOS, and fonts not installed by macOS. It also does a basic check of your startup disk, similar to using First Aid in Disk Utility. And it deletes some system caches, including font caches and the kernel cache, which are automatically created again as needed.
